Topic/Skill: Listening and Speaking

Feedback provided to the tutee: This was my eighth session with Rosario and probably one of my favorites. I had observed his previous classes for my classroom observations and wrote down some comments to discuss it. 

Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: The key lesson about tutoring I learned here is the encouragement of students. Rosario did not speak a lot in class discussions for speaking or listening. I encouraged him to participate more in class to improve his speaking skills and improve conversation and listening skills by participating. He has a lot to say but would not speak often in class.

Materials: Computer, google docs, WhatsApp  Student Participation: The students asked questions about the material  Feedback Provided: The teacher actively corrected the student assignments  Lesson(s) on teaching you learned: the process is slow and repetition is important with listening material
