Feedback provided to the tutee: This session was my final session with Miguel. We again reviewed some of the things he had learned that same week and instead of worksheets we mostly just talked about the things I suggested he improve on as it was our last session. We also discussed our future as friends and acquaintances as he will still be in the school once I return from Korea so I would still be willing to help him.

Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: This final session was very bittersweet. I learned a lot from Miguel in such a short amount of time. I sympathized with his early frustrations with learning a new language as I faced the same problem when I immigrated to the United States. Miguel's growth and desire to learn was very inspiring and I respect so much about him. I know in the future we will still speak and I will learn about his progress through time but it was still a bit sad to say goodbye for now and stop teaching for a bit. I not only tutored him but in that I made a friend.
