Topic/Skill: Listening comprehension

Feedback provided to the tutee: I provided my tutee with error correction on his English language mistakes.

Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: I learned that even more advanced level students still need to have videos played twice for them to fully understand what is being said. Dojuns reading skills are better than his listening skills. I think in the future I will have him watch more interesting native-level English language content. Dojun is at a level where he can watch engaging original content and does not need boring beginner-level stories. Being entertained by watching a video while still keeping the core focus on learning English is something that I will tackle in the future. I want to focus on improving his weak areas which right now I believe are his listening skills.
