Topic/Skill: Helped with homework – writing sentences using simple present.

Feedback provided from the tutor: I corrected Miguel’s beautiful mistakes and gave feedback. We also talked a lot about his background and his family so he got to practice speaking, and I helped him with pronunciation and vocabulary.

Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: Miguel still makes mistakes with simple present as he gets confused with when to use verb to be, do, does, etc.
