Topic/Skill: Listening comprehension/grammar lesson

Feedback provided to the tutee: I created a small lesson on contractions for Faisal to learn more about them before my teaching assignment. Faisal is at a lower level compared to Miguel and I wanted to make sure he had some basis to go off of for Rachel and I's lesson on Wednesday. After this, we continued practicing basic listening comprehension skills through watching a video and then answering questions based on said video.

Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: I learned that Faisal enjoys it when I get animated about his success. It seems to keep him motivated when I act excited after he gets a question correct. Every student in my opinion should have you change up your attitude a little bit to fit in more with their temperament. I will continue doing this in the future.
