Topic/Skill: reading comprehension 

Feedback provided to the tutee: Read an article about D-day.

Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: Continued my streak of topical articles this time reading one about the Allied power's invasion of Normandy to free the French from Nazi occupation. I am getting better at learning which articles suit Dojun best for his English level. My goal is to pick articles that have challenging words or ones that can be a bit difficult to comprehend for non-native speakers. Difficult to comprehend due to cultural differences as well as the advanced level of English that is being used.
