Topic/Skill: Grammar, must/have to.

Feedback provided to the tutee: Continued to work through must/have to/ mustn't etc as I feel last session Faisal didn't quite grasp it all.

Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: I learned that you must ask the students constantly if they understand what you are telling them. After recapping our previous session I felt that Faisal didn't quite grasp some concepts that I had just assumed that he had because he did not ask any questions about them. When working with a beginner student it is on you, the teacher, to make sure that they understand everything you are telling them. After our final lesson, I sent Faisal an email with all the material we worked on and he sent me back a message thanking me for teaching him. Overall, this TEFL course was an amazing experience and one I will truly, never forget. Thank you to everyone. See you in Japan!!!
