Topic/Skill: Reading / Intermediate / Group 2/3, Dr. Flemming


Teacher Presentation:  Dr. Flemming led a presentation regarding the previous material they covered about Memorial Day and presented some questions on the passage as well as having them answer questions about a new passage. 


Classroom Management: Dr. Flemming related back to the previous material, covered a new story and broke down what they were going to do in class thoroughly 


Materials: Canvas, Paper 


Student Participation: Dr. Flemming allowed them to contribute and relate culturally to the topic of Memorial Day as well as speak 


Feedback Provided: Dr. Flemming guided students on answer choices and corrected them when mistakes were made and urged them to re-read the question or at times even had them answer together.


Lesson(s) on the teaching you learned:  Dr. Flemming's approach at teaching reading was very good. I love how he related to the students culturally and encouraged discussion while also correcting them. The refreshing of previous assignments at the beginning of class was also very useful in keeping their memory of previous topics and subjects covered.
