Topic/Skill: Speaking/US Job culture


Feedback provided to the tutee: Wei and I had a discussion about cultural patterns with regard to job and school applications. 


Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: As an advanced speaker and more experienced student, I think that these kinds of discussions are useful for WEI rather than creating assignments. Writing and Speaking will be the most valuable skills to WEI in the coming future due to applications and interviews. In this discussion we talked about the various funding opportunities available to students pursuing graduate degrees.
