Topic/Skill: Writing/Summary


Feedback provided to the tutee: Wei and I spoke about some reoccurring errors made within three of her writing assignments. These included notes on construction and use of proper articles. We discussed strategies for future summaries and the ways in which summaries can help a student's overall literacy. 


Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: This was valuable for me because I could test which of my ideas best resonated with Wei. Additionally, with her TOEFL test coming soon, we also were able to come up with a plan for TOEFL prep. I will continue to tutor her through June even after I move to the CZ.
