Topic/Skill: Speaking, Conversation and vocabulary


Feedback provided to the tutee: Miguel was invited to my house for dinner again! We cooked a Cuban dish together and used what conversation skills and vocabulary he had to coordinate our efforts. I helped him learn new food related vocabulary. Additionally, he spoke to my roommates and I about cuban culture and we gave him the vocab ammo to tell the story. 


Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: I learned a lot more about Cuban culture and I also got to polish up my Spanish skills! In my opinion, it was helpful for us both :).

Meeting duration: 2 hours
